Then with my second cycle I was super optimistic because I was at the Great and Holy CCRM and then I was crushed that we only had six eggs fertilize and only two real blasts to test. Then with my third cycle I was a lot more grounded. I was hoping for the best but bracing myself for the worst - and it was my best cycle. Funny how these things are!Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07923049494756911105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3364708603593100884.post-41603960442043359822010-11-06T13:00:06.222-07:002010-11-06T13:00:06.222-07:00Your cycle sounds sooo similar to mine! I just got my first beta today - 358!! Don't obsess over the grades like I did - it will drive you crazy and for no good reason!!Deanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07799853002356302789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3364708603593100884.post-90918121877369565262010-11-04T20:05:07.221-07:002010-11-04T20:05:07.221-07:00I'm so sorry! I'm glad you have some to test, and crossing my fingers that you get a great percentage of normals, but I know it's disappointing that it's not more.

Even when you start out neutral, I think it's very difficult not to get your hopes up at some point. I have an IRL friend who also got her results from CCRM a couple days ago (you must've been there at the same time). She also started out going into it without a lot of expectations, and invariably her hopes rose too. (And unfortunately the number she wound up with for testing wasn't as high as she had hoped, either.)

I think it's natural to want to protect ourselves from disappointment, but hope always sneaks in at some point along the way.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09564075022074996137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3364708603593100884.post-90479968000947929402010-11-04T18:20:58.109-07:002010-11-04T18:20:58.109-07:00Ugh, I hate the downs in IVF, they are such tortur...Ugh, I hate the downs in IVF, they are such torture! Now the long wait to see if there are any normals. KayJay is right, 3BB doesn't mean anything, normal is normal. Hoping your sibling is in the batch. Hug on Teagan and get a good night sleep. I personally don't put too much stock into the grading that they assign to the embies...after all, I have a 4CB currently sleeping in the room next to me in addition to my 2/3. Neither were considered great by day 6 standards but they were both normal so all that matters is whether they are normal IMHO. Chin up - you're not out of this yet and you still have a great chance.kayjayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18256420678906545238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3364708603593100884.post-74654105443188201722010-11-04T13:32:06.321-07:002010-11-04T13:32:06.321-07:00Well, one thing we know for sure: it's not ove...Well, one thing we know for sure: it's not over until it's over and quality of the blast doesn't mean anything regarding normal. So you might very well have THREE normals there! That's what I'll hope for (you want triplets, right??)
Hang in there.lastchanceivfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14139576318784337837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3364708603593100884.post-22460562511537401752010-11-04T13:00:51.456-07:002010-11-04T13:00:51.456-07:00Oh the ups and downs of IVF!
